A person can have a combination of two such as Romantic/Dramatic – I fall into this category. I am a Romantic dresser with a flair for the Dramatic. Another Romantic/Dramatic is Jane Seymour – a true Dramatic is Cher.
TAKE THE TEST – Take the test to determine your Clothing Personality. This can save you hundreds of dollars on your wardrobe and give you confidence for work and play. Workshops are available as well as personal consultations.
CLOTHING TIPS – Career clothing works best in solid colors with accessories containing pattern. Patterns tend to distract from presentation; the exception being tweeds.
IMAGE MAKEOVER – It is important to keep you rmakeup consistent with the activity that you are doing. If you areworking use daytie work makup. If you are in an evening affair evening makeup is appropriate, evening make up is not appropriate for the workplace. Learn the difference.
MAKE-UP – Make-up has been used by women since the dawn of time. In ancient times women and even men used make-up to enhance their features. In Egyptian history, both men and women painted their eyes with kohl. The eyes were considered to be the mirror of the soul. It was also a sign of wealth to have make-up on the face and body. In archaeological digs, there were found boxes with handles that resembled make-up bags, inside were the remains of ancient cosmetics. It seems women will always be women no matter the time-period.
Start with a clean face. Always use sunscreen and moisturizer. For a very natural look – mix a little foundation with your moisturizer. Apply all over face, next apply a neutral eye shadow to entire eyelid, follow with soft eye liner to top and bottom lids, next apply mascara. Finish off with a dusting of powder, if desired, and apply gloss or lipstick. In 5 minutes you are ready and natural.
BLUSH TIP – Blush looks best in evening make-up, unless you are very pale; in that case a soft scarlet looks best on almost all skins tones.
